Frequently asked questions.
How much will it cost to have you as a vendor for parking enforcement?
The cost of partnering with us at Rocky Mountain Booting is absolutely free of charge. We are here as a solution to your problem. All we need from property management is a contract allowing us to be on your property to monitor and enforce parking violations.
How will you monitor at night with the new laws emplaced? Does it affect your industry as well?
With the new laws that are set in place and that will go into affect in the beginning of August we are actually considered a thrid party monitoring agency as well. Towing and booting is under the same government agency which is the PUC but we are two different industries. Not only can we monitor your parking lot overnight we can enforce these violations with our own booting system as well. Refer to: (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8qvU2knU8BkSG9kMUlYYkFrejg/view?resourcekey=0-UnoW- UuLOmNUWm34wOwUTg) for all your concerns containing the rules and regulations.
What are you going to do if boots are on the car for more than 24-72 hours?
The one thing we don’t want to see is a parking lot full of boots because then the problem isnt solved. With that being said if it comes down to a boot being on a car longer than you would prefer it to be on the car we would call your booting company that you are partnered with to get that car/cars removed off of property. Our goal is to make sure your parking lot is clean and the rules are enforced to benefit the community.
Where are the boots going to be placed after getting released
When the boot is released to the individual who was in violation after payment they will need to put it at our boot staging area which is on property by our signs. So you don’t have boots just sitting around your property there will be a fee charged to the individual who was booted if they don’t comply to ensure our boots are not just sitting around your property. We will also have one of our employees that will go around and pick up the boots once they are released.
How will the boots get released?
We at Rocky Mountain Booting have partnered with a third party application process called Parking Snap. They would scan the QR code that is on the boot and it will take hem directly to the website to release the boot. Once they get into Parking Snap they would type in the booting company that booted them and then type in their license plate associated with the car that have been booted. From there they would read and sign the agreement that we have in place to ensure the safety and the return of the boot. After signing the agrrement they will put in their card information to process the payment. When all that is finailized they would then get a release code for that spefic boot that is on their vehicle and that will release the boot. If they have cash instead of card payments one of our employees will be on site at the location in 90 minutes or less to release the boot from the vehicle.
How will you check for permits if we already have our own third-party parking application installed?
We can still monitor your property with your third-party parking app that you use. We would get access to the app to check for permits through your third-party provider and from there we will be able to check permits.
