Boot Removal Process
When trying to remove the boot off of your vehicle, we make the process smooth and simple!
Scan the QR code on the boot or property that says boot release payment. (You can also access this through our website.)
Type in the booting company name which would be Rocky Mountain Booting and click on it(Make sure you are picking the right booting company or it could lead to getting the wrong information to release your boot)
Type in your license plate associated with the booted vehicle and click on it.(Make sure that it is the correct license plate. Sometime the O and 0 can be confusing. You don’t want to make a mistake of paying for some other car that got booted that isn’t yours.)
Read the stipulations and rules regarding the removal and return of the boot. If everything is up to your standards you would sign the agreement (If you are unsure contact us via email and you should have a response in less than 15 minutes)
Once the agreement is signed you would put in your card information to process the payment
Then you will get a receipt and a code that is associated with your boot that is on your car to release it ( If you are having trouble releasing the boot feel free to email us and we will walk you through the process and if that doesn’t work we will send someone out there to remove the boot for you if you are still having trouble.)
We also accept cash. You would just need to email us to let us know that you want to pay cash to remove your boot and by Colorado PUC laws we have to be there within 90 minutes to remove that boot. We will write you out a receipt and a confirmation number for you and for the company as well.
Also don’t forget to check in your boot at the check in post which will be on the property. When checking in your boot to avoid additional charges scan the QR code that will take you to the boot check in site.
When checking in the boot it will ask you for the location ID and the device number. The location ID will always be self release and the boot number will be the number that is on the boot. The boot check in is a benefit for the violator because if the boot comes up missing or damage it shows that you turned in the boot and checked it in therefore you are not responsible for any theft or damage charges.
We ask that the boot will be checked in 30 minutes after releasing the boot to ensure no damages are made to the boot on your behalf.
